Events

Shared experiences and school traditions have a large impact on our students and influence their development as individuals in a direct way. BMS is committed to creating a strong school culture to which all students feel connected. An environment where students can actively bring their ideas and initiatives to the fore, develop a joy for lifelong learning, and collect special memories from their experiences at school. Our school calendar mirrors these qualities, offering our students an engaging and dynamic life both within the classroom and in our larger school community.

Theme weeks, project weeks, house initiatives, and many other student-led events create a school program that offers our students both variety and experiences connected to their learning. We use both national and international celebrations to enrich our program thematically and to connect our curriculum with events in our local and global world. In addition, our school calendar features numerous events where students are given the opportunity to showcase their unique talents, to celebrate student learning across the school, and to enjoy the many diverse voices within our community.

School life also includes wider community events, where families come together to celebrate our school and enjoy cultural events in our city. Musical and theatrical performances, assemblies, concerts, as well as sporting events are an integral part our BMS school life.
