64 students received their certificates in a formal IGCSE and MSA ceremony on December 1st, celebrating their accomplishments in completing the IGSCSE and MSA as part of their Gr. 10 studies. Well done to our students and many thanks to our entire community for helping us honor our students.

Our engaged primary BRC students celebrated STEM week at BMS in the school library, enjoying 4 student-led sessions on studying chemical reactions, exploring engineering with Lego Technik, getting creative with Star Wars origami, and building tracks! Well done to our BRC students for celebrating STEM and organizing their own events!  Hats off to Maisie, Lev, Zohar, Alma, Noel, Tara, and Meron.

Our students in Primary School engaged in hands-on workshops and activities to explore STEM, as part of their Units of Inquiry and EdTech activities in the Makerspace classroom.  Robotics, scientific experiments, Lego Technik builds and much more marked the week´s program. We will now welcome medicine students from Charles University to take their entrance exams at our school! The first exam will be hosted on July 15, 2024 in our auditorium. We look forward to this collaboration and welcoming students to our campus!

We would like to congratulate our students for collecting 680 Euros from the book sale as part of our Book Day Celebrations in November 2023. Our student leaders in Secondary school picked the international institution for its work with children. We would like to thank our volunteers for their engagement!

We would like to thank our entire community for a wonderful celebration of reading, literature, and fun during last week’s celebrations. Our students were read to by many volunteers, had a book sale in our school cafeteria, and had the task of identifying the teacher in disguise as the guest reader. We would like to congratulate our Model UN team on their engagement during the latest UN conference hosted in Oxford. Our students were able to show their debate skills, leadership, and so much more. Our students received numerous accolades in their committees: Feliks, Best Delegate, Zephyr, Outstanding Delegate, Zadie, Outstanding Delegate (only 3 in total awarded), and Isadora, Honorable Mention. Well done to our students!

Our students will participate in the national Book Day on November 17th, celebrating a love of reading and enjoying the many volunteers who will read aloud for our students. Primary school students will dress up as their favorite book character and a book swap will be held on campus. Stay tuned also for impressions from our “Masked Reader” initiative, inviting our students to correctly guess who the volunteer reader is in disguise!

The CCEP team has put the call out for all magicians, singers, dancers, and other performers to register for the talent who and sign up for an audition! The best acts will perform in February 2024 at our 3rd annual show on the BMS Stage. Watch this space for program details in February 2024!

Secondary parents from Gr. 11 are cordially invited to attend an informative workshop led by our EE coordinator on November 9th. BMS Model UN Team to attend Oxford Global

Our dedicated BMS Model UN team will travel to Oxford from November 3-5, participating with their peers from around the world in numerous committees and special council sessions. The theme for this year´s conference will focus on the 10th anniversary of Oxford Global and will examine the role of international diplomacy in the last ten years. We can´t wait to share updates and highlights from the team!

We are gearing up for another dynamic and fun vacation program, offering our Primary School students an exciting opportunity to explore their interests and inspirations outside of the classroom! Our program includes excursions to the Zoo, Jumphouse, museum visits, a DJ workshop, drawing & sketching offers, soccer, Halloween celebrations, and so much more. Our art club in Grade 1 & 2 has been busy producing artworks based on the inspiration of Autumn and the transformation this season brings. Our students haven been examining the use of color, felt pens, and the role light brings in illuminating their work.

BMS Scholars: Debate Club

As part our BMS Scholars Program, our Secondary debate club recently finished a debate motion on the positive implications of artificial intelligence for humanity. By two teams representing two opposing sides of the motion, our students were able to continue their mission to develop their skills in conceptualizing motions and using their argumentative skills in a formal setting.  We would like to thank our debate team, Mr. Huet, and the judges from our faculty for an inspiring debate.

Our Grade 1& 2 parent community will soon have the opportunity to meet personally with specialist teachers and class teachers in our upcoming conferences on October 9th-13th, allowing parents to hear about learning goals for Semester 1 and pose questions on how to best support their children in the formative years of Primary School.
