Admission to Preschool and first grade
Please begin the process by filling out an application form that can be downloaded from the right side panel. Return it to us by e-mail, fax or post. All contact information can be found on the application form. When we process you application, we will contact you to arrange a meeting and a play-date for your child.

Application for grades 2 and higher
Please follow the same steps as those listed above for the Preschool and first grade. In addition please attach to the application form your child's two most recent report cards.

When we process you application, we will contact you to arrange a meeting. Wherever possible, we would like your child to spend a trial-day attending the appropriate class in our school. If this visit is a positive experience from the perspective of the school and the family, we will be able to offer you a contract within a few days.

Criteria for admission
We aim for all of our classes to reflect both the social and international diversity of Berlin. Our admissions decisions are influenced by factors such as an international or bilingual background, sibling relationships and a balance of boys and girls.

Deadlines for Preschool and first grade for the following school year:
We are still accepting applications for the Preschool and all grades of the school. Applications received too late to be considered for the current school year, may be taken into consideration for the following school year. We recommend that families interested in admission apply and visit the school one year before the actual enrollment date.

Process for changing schools during the school year
Applications from highly mobile families are accepted throughout the year. Given that we are an international school, we are accustomed to having students join us while the school year is in progress. This process is known as "rolling admissions." Upon receipt of the application, we invite the interested family to visit the school. The admissions decision can be made within a few days of the visit.
